So here's my next post...it just occurred to me right now ,which is why I'm penning it down. as i write this piece two boys aged approx 13-14 are cleaning my room,in the hostel where I'm pursuing my post graduation degree. If you've not guessed the topic by now...read on..
Its on something which is a little emotional and may want you to look at life differently, a little serious from earlier posts put up on the site.
I am a strong believer of being thank full to the universe of whatever she has given us and i generally try to take life's giving (good or bad) in a positive sense. We go through a lot of ups and downs, turns and twist, heartaches and sometimes heart failures(as we MBA students call it when an assignment has been preponed), but keeping all those things in place have we ever sat down and wondered the amount we have received as compared to the amount we have given back.

The irony is that as i sit here typing this article, from my hostel, for which i have paid lakhs,i have two boys in the room who are at an age which should be their vital years of knowledge, but are cleaning my room, to ensure that "I" study in a better enviornment and strive higher.
Whether you call it luck, destiny or the way life is, its not fair...!! But again you might be saying that "hey stop getting all emotional here", "we'll do our part of charity to help out" and "this is the way the world works" and blah and blah.

To this i would have two points to say 1) calling it charity would be grossly wrong on our part, as the essence of the term "charity" , reflects something that we "need" to give, "need" by it self as a definition means a -'necessity or obligation', do you see what I'm saying here. Saying that we are responsible to give back to society would be more apt. Point 2) is learn to differentiate between what you really 'need' in life as opposed to what you 'want' in life. when it comes to materialistic pleasures question your self with two options. Do i "need" this or do is "want" this. if your answer is "want" then do not purchase it, if it is "need" then go ahead. and yes lastly giving back to the world should be our 'Responsibility'. Trust you me, this may sound stupid but try giving back with full heart and soul and see the amount to which it goes in relieving frustration/stress/anxieties.
Irony is that as i write this, I'm typing on a Dell Inspiron14inch(latest make), wearing a G shock watch, Levis sandals and an Adidas perfume. Unfortunately I'm much a part of You. As You are a part of Me.... :)
